Dia de Los Muertos Celebration, Mesilla, New Mexico. Procession November 2nd, 2024. Celebrate the Day of the Dead with lots of music and food.
Join the candlelight procession as the dead are remembered. Homemade altars are on display and a giant piñata is broken open. Old Mesilla Plaza. (575) 524-3262 ext.116.

Free community event. An evening where Las Cruces comes alive with colorful altars, mesmerizing performances, and artistic expressions that pay homage to our ancestors in a way that resonates with our entire community.
“Día De Los Muertos in Las Cruces: Arte, Música y Cultura” is a lively and dynamic FREE community event that
honors the rich traditions of Día De Los Muertos while infusing a fresh perspective to engage younger generations.
Our event is both deeply rooted in cultural heritage and bursting with
contemporary energy, making it a must-attend for everyone in the community.

SAT 2, SUN 3 | Renaissance Artsfaire
Every year, the Doña Ana Arts Council’s Renaissance ArtsFaire transforms Young Park, in Las Cruces, into a magical realm where a medieval sensibility reigns throughout the entire weekend. Featuring the largest juried art show in Southern New Mexico, with over 150 artists, vendors, and food booths, the ArtsFaire offers unique treasures and a festive atmosphere for all. With the theme “Reimagining the Renaissance,” The 53rd Annual Renaissance Arts Faire promises to bring more time periods and multicultural representations to Young Park.

SAT 9 | Aggie Homecoming & 11th Annual AG Day Tailgate
AG Day is a huge tailgate event held prior to a New Mexico State University Aggie football game. Located in the south Pan Am Center lot and the northeast Aggie Memorial Stadium lot, AG Day focuses on family fun and the importance of agricultural products, services and jobs in New Mexico. The event features food sampling, educational booths, and much more. Booths feature family- and kid-friendly agricultural learning and awareness activities.

FRI 15, SAT 16 | Holly Day House - Artists of Picacho Hills
The Artists of Picacho Hills was founded in 2008 by artists living in the Picacho Hills Community with a shared interest in promoting the arts.
Our mission is to provide our members' support and networking opportunities in the local artists' community. The artisans in our group work in many different mediums to include painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, woodworking, textile, quilting, and multimedia. We like to share our skills with each other with demonstrations, workshops and plein air events.

We'll also have a Silent Auction that includes restaurant gift cards and artistic works.

It’s that time of year again! Join the Asombro Institute for Science Education for our annual Luminarias: Light Up the Desert event at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park. Come stroll along our paved ADA-accessible trail lit with over 400 luminarias while darkness settles over the surrounding desert. Enjoy free holiday cookies and hot chocolate, shop for stocking stuffers at our pop-up gift shop, roast a marshmallow over the fire, and view Saturn and Jupiter through a telescope.
