I have been lucky enough to live in several states in my childhood due to being an “Air Force Brat”. My father eventually left the service for NASA which is how I made my way to New Mexico.
I met my husband in the summer of 1988 and it turned out that he was an Officer in the NM Army National Guard. On the plus side that meant we wouldn’t have to leave the state, but it did mean he would have to travel to all 4 corners of the state every month and let me tell you NM is a big state!
We were blessed with 2 boys who now are both married and starting their journey in life with their beautiful wives. One of our sons works in the Health Care Administration and has recently moved back to Las Cruces, which of course makes his momma very happy, having him closer to home again. Our other son is serving in the Army with the 82nd Airborne. He, his wife, and our grandson live in North Carolina.
I have been working in the management field since I was 18 years old. Whether it was in the medical field, bookkeeping/accounting, or residential and commercial construction. I enjoy spending my spare time ranching, gardening, collecting antiques, and traveling around seeing this beautiful country of ours.
